"To all concerned parties" -- that's how each Planning Commission agenda begins.

All Christiansburg residents should be concerned about the business conducted by this appointed body.  Two recent hot topics are expected to have a voted recommendation made at the next meeting -- one for Sage Lane and another for a boundary line adjustment (both projects of the same developer).

These votes can affect your real property values, tax rates, services, fees, school enrollments and quality of life, as well as consumer choices.

See the agenda for Monday's commission meeting (on Tuesday, because Monday is another holiday).  Even though these are held during regular office hours and you may normally have to work, try to attend one or access the audio/video recordings via this link.

As noted by a festival banner across West Main Street, the town's new website has been launched -- and this agenda, as well as those for all other public meetings, should now be found there, too (note the attached links are much faster than the town's).  Future notices of public meetings will only be made via signing up for the "Notify Me" link, or through a visit to read the Town Hall's public notice boards.
