A reminder that Christiansburg's elected town council will hold its second monthly meeting today at 7:30 pm in the municipal building.
Agenda items include a public hearing on a Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for 500 Roanoke Street for residential use in a General Business zoning, and votes by council on a rezoning request for 2880 Roanoke Road and another CUP for residential use at 245 First Street are expected (those public hearings were held on March 3rd).
Representatives from Christiansburg Institute and the Montgomery Museum are expected to present annual funding requests. Two representatives planning separate special events will be present to provide information and seek council's support for a combined CHS reunion, and another downtown tailgate party.

Blacksburg Transit will be back with information gathered from a recent bus service survey, and as usual, a progress report by the town manager will close out the meeting. As usual, what business matters this includes will only be made known when it happens.
Come on down to the Christiansburg Town Hall, and watch your elected representatives as they conduct public business on your behalf.
