A smart move! No more 'special' elections and the added costs that go with them! More folk are in the "political mood" in November, when there are so many other elections being held, thus a better voter turnout & more interest. It seemed that only the remnant - the same voters year after year - turned out in May. I suppose I've voted in every town election for the past 44 years (since I turned 21) and I certainly favor the November vote! THANKS to all who had a part in changing it. I've always been a traditionalist - of the opinion, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it,"but this needed fixing.
