I don't want the elections to be moved, but I did sign the petition because I do think it is something that can/should be decided by the citizens as a whole.
Good for you! Had a couple of town employees flat out refuse to sign it, which was interesting since it only meant it would be placed on a ballot for all voters to decide.

1. It is a bother to have any election in May. People thinking about elections think "Vote" & November together, not other months. 2. If the only time these people seek me out is once every four years, how personal is that. 3. All the candidates at one place with their family and friends makes limited parking even more difficult. 4. Who wants to run an obstacle course to get inside. Do candidates really think people haven't made up their minds or are they just watching to see who is coming out to vote? Move it!!!

Out of the three hundred plus signatures I collected, only one person refused to sign. I think the mayor & council should start listening more to what the people want....not what they want.
