Think the residents of Sage Lane (or any other cul-de-sac) feel confident about the purported restrictions relative to this nonessential rezoning?

Ivy Ridge was approved by Christiansburg Town Council 4:2 and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who voted how -- or why this was pushed through before the September 1 installation of council members who won May elections.  Not that it would have mattered, since returning Steve Huppert had supported other rezonings along Peppers Ferry in the past.  He also championed these applications while being banished to the Planning Commission.

Although Christiansburg schools were already bursting at the seams, the Blacksburg-Auburn buildings have the highest priority now.  Could Montgomery County Supervisors file another lawsuit, and try to stop development until additional classrooms can be paid for?   Do you think the  children of this rezoning applicant (or those of his employees) attend Montgomery County Public Schools?  Their limited tax burden only lasts until the next "sold" sign appears.
