JIT stands for "just in time." It's a phrase associated with manufacturing processes where raw materials are delivered just in time to hit the assembly line.
Residents of Christiansburg need information a little earlier than "just in time." Sure, delivering the Town Council agenda at 3:28pm the afternoon before the meeting meets the letter of the law. But that certainly doesn't comply with the Town's
attorney's guidance that the Freedom of Information Law's provisions be "liberally construed."
That said, we do have an agenda for tomorrow night's meeting.

Since tomorrow night's agenda is so short, the T's hope that all of you can stay until the bitter end. A lot happens after the Mayor says "Is there any other business to come before Council?"
Town Council, 7:30pm, July 1, 2008. Second floor, Town Hall, 100 East Main Street, Christiansburg.
See you there.
