Join the Christiansburg Town Council's Finance Committee for the first ever (that anyone knows of) open-to-the-public budget meeting!
The meeting will be at 3pm today, second floor, Town Hall. It may be in the Town Manager's office; could be moved to Council Chambers if enough folks attend. We know it's during work hours; maybe we can all take very late lunch hours.
An agenda will be used and various materials will actually be made available to those in attendance. For now we'll be happy that this much is happening, and try to get over the fact that the meeting was not announced in compliance with FOIA, nor was the agenda published.
