The Montgomery County Voter Registrar sent a Need To Know (NTK) notice about the General and Special Elections scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd. Polling places will be open from 6 am until 7 pm.

Town of CHRISTIANSBURG - Special Election Question
“Shall the Town of Christiansburg change the election date of the Mayor and members of Town Council from the May general to the November general election in odd numbered years, beginning with a change in the scheduled May 2012 election to November 2011?”
Christiansburg citizens will vote on this question at their regular polling places.

The last day to vote absentee by mail is Oct. 27 and the last day to vote absentee in person is Oct. 31.
The Voter Registrar’s office, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, will be open Saturday, Oct. 24 and Saturday, Oct. 31, from 9 am until to 5 pm, for questions and absentee voting. For more information, call the Voter Registrar’s office at 382-5741.
