Guess the intent to is check the mailing list and whether the links work. Note this came out two days after the meeting with the agenda link. Remember the emergency radio/television alerts? This is a test, this is only a test. Well, with the launch, the website representing the Town of Christiansburg is no longer a test. It's real.
Reviewing the newly launched website, readers will not find much in the way of E-alerts, public relations notices, and even several holes in the posted meeting minutes on the related pull down menus. Sigh.
The calendar didn't even show the aquatics advisory board which is finally being allowed to meet this week until today. It is hoped these minutes, as well as those for the Parks & Recreation Department, are added to the archives soon, too.
They say patience is a virtue, so maybe we're just not that virtuous.
