Today is the day the Christiansburg Planning Commission takes action on a request for a Conditional Use Permit for property at 655 Depot Street. The details of this request are covered in a
previous entry.
Today's action is important for many reasons. The most important is that the Christiansburg Planning Commission acts without supervision from its most important superiors: YOU.
Aside from insuring that the Town follows the letter of the law, and that the town protect the historic attributes of one of the few areas with character left in Christiansburg, citizens must let the Planning Commission know we are paying attention.
Today's meeting also a chance to see one of the
candidates for Town Council, Jim Vanhoozier, particpate in Town governance.
