In the
Current article discussing Christiansburg's Noisy Dozen award, both Town Manager Terpenny and Mayor Ballengee are quoted as saying they haven't had any complaints about noise.
Mr. Terpenny was at the Planning Commission meeting when Chairman Steve Simmons passed out the sheet titled "Noise Complaints to Christiansburg Police Department August 2006 to July 2007."
There were
455 noise complaint calls logged on that sheet.
Admittedly those were calls to the Cburg police department, not calls to Mr. Terpenny's and Mr. Ballengee's home or office. Shall we start calling them at home if we have a noise (or other) complaint? That may be the only way they begin to understand what is going on in our town.
