Call-ahead service taking BT reservations in Christiansburg
Christiansburg residents can now schedule a ride with one of the new routes offered through the Blacksburg Transit's expanded service in town.
The "Go Anywhere!" route will take residents from their neighborhood to any location in Christiansburg. Residents can now call 443-7111 to make their trip reservations.
The new Christiansburg routes began Nov. 23 and riders can use it free through Dec. 31 (rates will go into effect Jan. 1).
Fares for the "Go Anywhere!" route will be $2 round trip plus $1 for each additional stop. The maximum cost is $5 per day.
Residents can make trip reservations on the route at least one business day before the trip or up to seven days in advance.
