Town Council's agenda for today includes a public hearing that has even the applicant confused, followed by citizens hearings.  If you have a comment or question for council, this is the time to get up and speak.  Answers or action may or may not follow.

The Planning Commission will make a recommendation to council on the public hearing, after a recess to discuss this again (the matter was discussed during regular PC meeting the previous day).  A reappointment to the Board of Zoning Appeals is expected and an update on the Huckleberry Trail Bridge will be given.

A required resolution to the IRS relative to Virginia Retirement System payments for town employees will be read and possibly approved, as will determining the mileage reimbursement rates (given higher gasoline costs and possibly, IRS allowances).

A presentation on a "sewer service area agreement" will be heard, followed by a report from the Street Committee (Stipes & Canada) including combining three lots into one; vacating interior lot lines in Cambria Pointe; and a plat showing boundary line adjustments and sewer easement dedication along Radford Street.

This will be followed by a closed meeting to discuss acquisition of real property for an unstated purpose.  Following this second recess for citizens attending this meeting, council will be adjourned after approving payment of bills and the Town Manager's progress report.

Monday, 7:30 pm, Town Hall.
