  • Monday, March 2  - Christiansburg Planning Commission, Town Hall, 100 East Main Street @ 4 pm.  (Today's Recreation Commission meeting @ 6 pm has been canceled, but it wasn't on the public calendar anyway.)
  • Monday, March 2 - Public Service Authority, County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, 7-9 pm.
  • Tuesday, March 3 - MCPS_School Board, Administrative Offices, Junkin Street, Christiansburg.  Closed meeting @ 5:45 pm, regular meeting @ 7:30 pm.
  • Tuesday, March 3 - Christiansburg Town Council, Town Hall, 100 East Main @ 7:30 pm. (Amended agenda sent out today deleted disposition of a lot in the industrial park, which had been previously addressed.)
  • Friday, March 6 - Proposed 2009-2010 Budget Document Delivered to Montgomery County Board of Supervisors.
  • Monday, March 9 - Montgomery County Board of Supervisors meeting, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg.  Regular meeting @ 7:15, includes proposed budget presentation.  Additional "work session" meetings to be scheduled through March 16. 
  • Wednesday, March 11 - Christiansburg Aquatic Center Advisory Board (first meeting to define the group's role and tour the new facility; transportation and hard hats will be furnished for board members) from  Town Hall, 100 East Main @ 4 pm.
